Getting Some Base Statistics

5.31sec 0-100kmh
One thing i didn't do with my last project, and that i wanted to rectify if i ever did another project car, was to track my moderfications. Did they make my car any better? To help me with this i have employed the help of the Perfomance Box. A gps data logger that logs usful infomation. I have put the car on the hoist for a look over, found a few loose bolts, but apart from that it all looks stock underneath. The only mod that i have found thus far is the boost restrictor has been removed allowimg 1bar of boost and of course the 18 inch wheels with dulop lemans tyres. After a few 0-100kmh runs, the best time pulled off was a  6.1sec. this being the first 4 wheel drive car ive owned and definatly the fasted i've driven i was fairly happy. That was untill i came home jumped on the net and found out Nissan stated a 5.6Sec 0-100. Lucky for me those standard 16 inch wheels rocked up in the next couple of days and i trotted down to Trackside Race and Rally to see what tyres they had lying around for me try. I picked up some old stock RE-01r's for a good price. Driving home these wheels and tyres felt so much better than the cheapy 18s (Advan Model 5's) that came with the car.  That gave me the motivation to go out and try a couple more 0-100's. I couldnt wipe the smile off my face after my second go captured a 5.31sec. With that time more inline with the 5.6sec Nissan state, a 0-400m was on the cards. Unfortunatly the clutch felt a bit warm after a couple of goes but i was happy with a best of 13.7sec.
