How quickly another month has pasted. The nuts and bolts of the rebuild are not as glamorous to look at as the pretty paint job and the "waiting on parts" has slowed down the early blistering pace but rest assure it is still on time for VTAC.
At the end of the last post I had just removed the rear sub frame only to find the bushes needed replacing. They took some doing, but all the bushes came out with no real problems.
I choose to solid mount the sub frame and had to wait 2 weeks for parts to show up. Nolothane diff bushes arrived prior so I fitted those up.
Then the aluminium sub frame bushes where dropped in and promptly fitted to the car.
After fitting up the sub frame to the new shell I would take an unexpected break.
